For a width of 140 cm:

Sizes 34-36: 160 cm
Sizes 40-42: 170 cm
Size 44: 180 cm
Sizes 46-52: 200 cm

You will also need:

10 cm of iron-on interfacing, such as Vlieseline G710
48 to 74 cm of elastic, 3 cm high
4.5 meters of piping if you wish to enhance the side band
If you wish to sew the side band in a different fabric from the main fabric, you will need a 1-meter high piece of fabric.

Fabric choice

We recommend soft and comfortable fabrics, such as:

douppion,
tailoring wool,
soft jacquard,
fine and soft denim,
heavy crepe,
gabardine,
medium-weight denim,

in compositions of viscose, cotton, linen, wool, or Tencel.

Recommended weight: 120 to 300 gsm, depending on the desired drape.
